Save The Children –  Legacy Campaign

In one Ugandan town, every child is named Alice — even the boys.

The Challenge
Save the Children needed a legacy fundraising campaign that celebrated life, not loss – highlighting the incredible impact of midwives working in the world’s toughest conditions.

The Insight
In rural Uganda, midwives travel hundreds of miles alone each week to deliver babies safely. They’re so respected that families often name their children after them. These women aren’t just healthcare workers – they’re heroes.

The Idea
My Name is Alice — the story of one midwife whose legacy lives on in every child she helps bring into the world.
From her moped, Alice has delivered hundreds of healthy babies across Uganda, inspiring a generation to carry her name – and her spirit – forward.

The Work
A hero film and interview with Alice, supported by social, online and fundraising DM packs, told her story with warmth and authenticity.

The Impact
The campaign resonated deeply, running successfully for more than three years and continuing to inspire legacy giving. Because when your life changes others, your name never fades.
